This weekend I got engaged to the love of my life. It’s so crazy to have a ring on my finger as I work today. I was so surprised that when he actually got down on one knee my first response was “are you serious? that’s mean if you’re joking”. Because Tyler and I have watched every episode of the Office on Netflix and when Jim did that to Pam time and time again he told me that one day he would be jokester Jim and do the same to me. But when he pulled out a box and a ring and slipped it on my finger as I began to cry and I knew he wasn’t joking. We were in Texas visiting with Tyler’s parents and just had the best time (as we always do). Visits are always too short and before we knew it we were back on a plane to Orlando, but it is definitely one weekend we both will not forget.
I am so incredibly happy to have found my other half and soul mate. Words can’t even describe the love in my heart and soul I have for you and how incredibly happy you make me each day. My parents always told me that when the right one came along I would just know, and I’d to think that I knew the second I talked to you, the moment I saw you, the first time you made me smile … but most likely it was a combination of everything. The reality is it didn’t take me long to realize that you were the one I wanted to spend my life with, the one I want to have adventures with, the one I want to love for the rest of my life.
